ROI PRO Tournament

RPT logo

The ROI PRO Tournament (RPT) was an Indonesian double-elimination 3v3 osu! tournament hosted by wiam103. The tournament was restricted to Bahasa Indonesia-speaking players only. This was the first instalment of the ROI PRO Tournament.

  • Results will be splited per 16 players:
    • Players placed within #1 - #16 will be Tier 1 player and captain of the team in the upcoming knockout stage.
    • Players placed within #16 - #32 will be Tier 2 player.
    • Players placed within #33 - #48 will be Tier 3 player.
    • Players placed within #49 - #64 will be Tier 4 player.
    • Players placed within #65 or below are eliminated and out of the tournament.
  • More detailed qualifiers result can be accessed via the statistics sheet inside links section.
  • Average rank is determined by Σ position earned when playing the qualifiers mappool / amount of Qualifiers mappool

Ruleset

General rules

  1. ROI PRO Tournament is a 3v3 osu! tournament.
  2. The team size is 4 members per team.
  3. The score system used will be Score V2.
  4. There are no rank restrictions to participate in the tournament.
  5. The tournament is however restricted to Bahasa Indonesia speaking player only and has Indonesian flag in their osu! profile (Indonesian players who live abroad could give further confirmation through osu! PM or Discord server to the organizer).
  6. The tournament will use Qualifiers to determine the seeding of each player.
  7. Joining the RPT Discord server is mandatory. If the player isn't a member of the server by the closing of the registration phase, they'll be ineligible to participate in the tournament.
  8. Amount of players that participate in the tournament will determine the format of the knockout stage:
    • <32 players: Cancelled.
    • 32 - 64 players: Top 32 will proceed to the Quarterfinals.
    • 64 - 128 players: Top 64 will proceed to the Round of 16.
    • >128 players: Top 128 will proceed to the Round of 32.
  9. During the Qualifiers, players will be sorted by their performance playing the Qualifiers mappool. The tiers used will be: Tier 1, Tier 2, Tier 3, Tier 4 with Tier 1 being the best performance and Tier 4 has worse performance.
  10. Team composition: One player will be picked randomly from each tier to form a team of 4.
  11. Player with Tier 1 seed will be the captain of the formed team.
  12. All matches will take place using the WIB (Waktu Indonesia Barat) timezone.
  13. Map selector, map tester, referee, and administrator cannot participate in the tournament. However, commentator and streamer are free to participate.
  14. Reschedule had to be requested at least 24 hours before the previous proposed schedule, anything ahead won't be granted.

Lobby rules

  1. Referee will create a lobby within 5 minutes of the match start. Team Captain or any member of the team must be online in this time and receive the invite from the referee.
  2. Each team can pick or skip a warmup. The maximum duration of the map is 4:00.
  3. Captain of the team will do a !roll command to determine the pick and ban order. The winner of the !roll will choose wether they will pick first or ban first.
  4. Each team has a 10 minutes late compensation. If there are any team members that is offline after the time limit, they'll be declared as forfeitting the match. Exception may apply if referee and the opponent agree to extend the time limit duration.
  5. Each team has 2 minutes to pick/ban a map.
    • If the limit has passed, the opposite team will get the decision instead.
  6. After picking a map, they'll be given a 90 seconds time to prepare and click the ready button.
    • If the limit has passed, the opposite team will get the point instead.
  7. In case of any disconnection, the map will be restarted only the disconnection take place within 30 seconds of the play.
    • If the player happens to have the issue again, the match will resume instead.

Qualifiers details

  1. Qualifiers lobby will be opened when it's time, as displayed in the statistics sheet. Each player can choose which lobby they'd choose to schedule their own time availability.
  2. Each lobby will have a max of 16 players.
  3. Each lobby will be handled by 1 referee.
  4. There will be no warmup during the Qualifiers.
  5. Lobby will use the Qualifiers mappool as sorted in the statistics sheet.
  6. Qualifiers will have a Head-to-Head mode active.
  7. Failed scores will be counted.
  8. In case of any disconnection, the map will be restarted only the disconnection take place within 30 seconds of the play.
    • If the player happens to have the issue again, the match will resume instead.

Procedures

  1. Team who scored the most will win the match, failed scores will be counted.
  2. There will be different mappool for each stage.
  3. All teams in the winner and losers brackets will use the same mappool.
  4. Each team will have one ban during the Round of 16.
  5. In the Quarterfinals and forward, each team will have two bans but the team cannot ban a map from the same category twice.
  6. NoFail mod is available to use freely.
  7. Each team cannot play the map within the same category twice back to back (exception for NoMod).
  8. The winning condition and its ban limit for each stage are listed below:
    • Round Of 16: Best-Of-9 (First to 5 points) with 1 ban
    • Quarterfinals and Semifinals: Best-Of-11 (First to 6 points) with 2 bans
    • Finals, and Grand Finals: Best-Of-13 (First to 7 points) with 2 bans
  9. In case of a tie with one map remaining to play, the Tiebreaker will be played with FreeMod applied.
  10. During the FreeMod bracket, there are several options to choose:
    • Available mods to pick are Hidden and HardRock. Mod combinations are also allowed.
    • A minimum of 2 players within each team is required to use mod.
